We just wanted to say an extra big thank you to yourself and all your staff for their hard work and efforts at our wedding at the Mountain Goat Brewery.

The food was just delicious, totally exceeding our expectations and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. In particular the oysters were a great hit with our guests.

I have to say you have outstanding staff at ACC.  I could not fault any of them – all I can say is 15 out of 10 for all of them in every way.  They are an absolute credit to your business and the training you provide.  It is so clear they know exactly what they are meant to be doing and they were extremely helpful in guiding me yesterday with regard to table numbers, seating etc.  I wish I could remember all their names but no need as each of them were just outstanding both Friday and Saturday.  They were particularly delightful to deal with and I would come straight back to you every time for any catering requirements.

 Nothing for me or my family to do, the staff were there (bar and catering) but they were in the shadows (professionalism at its best). They made sure everything ran smoothly, only when they were doing their job did you know that they were present. I had a really tough crowd, one that isn’t easily impressed…..miracles do happen!

Dear Vanessa

 On behalf of Pauline and myself may I extend a heartfelt thank-you to your team who catered for the wedding of Kestrel and Duncan on Saturday 22^nd October. The facilities that they had were far from ideal, and the weather conspired against them, but they remained remarkably calm, professional, courteous and at all times helpful despite some fairly difficult conditions. I was amazed that they were able to turn out wonderful food and serve it efficiently, with good humour and attention to individual needs through the middle of a thunderstorm and downpour from a less than adequate tent. We can’t praise them enough, and they contributed significantly to what was, I think, a most successful event. May I especially comment on the vegetables which I find often let down an otherwise good meal at both catered events and restaurants. The vegetables were wonderful and really complemented the meals. Please pass on our sincere thanks and compliments to Leon, Travis and Penny (who were the names I remember – I’m sorry I can’t recall the names of the other team members).

 Please find attached confirmation of an on-line payment for the balance of the invoice which should be in your account in a day or two. Also find attached confirmation of another on-line payment of a small gratuity that I hope can be distributed among the team who catered for us.

I would like to thank you so much for the fantastic service that your company provided to us on Saturday for our daughter Brooke’s engagement.   We had so many people comment on the food that was provided for the occasion.  The meat was melt in your mouth.  The salads were great.  The staff John and Kate went out of their way to make the day successful for us.   We could not fault the staff or the food.  John left us with your business cards but they were thrown out accidently.   Would it be possible for you to forward some cards, as many people asked for information on your company and we would be only too pleased to give them the information.

I would like to acknowledge the wonderful service we received last Saturday night from ACC's excellent staff who catered for my son's 21st birthday.
Both Travis and Yael were most professional in their manner and took the stress completely out of the evening, allowing me to enjoy the time with our guests.

As I was not able to get a taste test done I went purerly by your website testimonials and WOW...what a meal. My sister who works in hospitality commented, saying she didn't know I was having Advanced Catering Concepts for the wedding and that she had heard that you were one of the best and most renowned catering companies in Melbourne. Your reputation and food definitely speaks for itself and the service was 100% from yourself and also from the staff on the day. The young guy (sorry can't remember his name) was so polite and friendly and he really deserves a pat on the back as well. John also spoke highly of working for the company which was nice.

" Hi Peter,  

On Wednesday evening, 3rd September, 2008, I was hired for security duties at a function at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, 111 Sturt Street, Southbank. As you know, it was your company that was hired for the catering. I thought that you might like to receive some feedback on your staff at this event.

As you do not know me, I thought that I might first provide a few details about myself so that you may gauge my experience to provide this feedback.

I was a police officer for twenty-five years, (twelve years in Australia and thirteen years in England). In the police in England I performed Bodyguard duties to HRH Prince Charles, HRH Princess Margaret, Margaret Thatcher, and various other senior Ministers and foreign heads of State. As you can imagine, I attended many functions with these V.I.P’s.  

After resigning from the police I worked as a driver/bodyguard to a multi-millionaire in London, who was an associate of the Sultan of Brunei. With my employer I attended many more functions with Royalty and other V.I.P’s present.  

Since returning to Melbourne thirteen years ago, I have worked in the security industry in five star establishments, attended by Royalty, Prime Ministers, Premiers, Heads of State, and many other prominent V.I.P’s, including sporting celebrities and rock stars. In the last two and a half years, I have concentrated on Celebrity and Event security.

The reason I am telling you all this, is that during all those years I attended hundreds of functions and witnessed their catering arrangements. Some good, some bad. On many occasions, particularly in Australia, I have seen catering functions badly organised, with staff that are below par. The food offered by staff on trays has been stupid decorations that guests do not recognise, is often not very appealing, and is food that has little taste and no substance.

Your catering function at ACCA last Wednesday was excellent. It was well organised. Your staff were smartly dressed. They were polite, courteous and attentive. The food brought around on trays was the best I have seen for a long time. Instead of silly decorations, the food was good quality basic items that appeal to guests. The food was plentiful, hot, tasty and enjoyable. The range of drinks was good. I spoke to the James, the organiser of the event at ACCA, and I commented on how good the catering was. He agreed with me and stated that he had found your company to be very easy to deal with.

I have taken the time and trouble to write this to you because I have found that people are very quick to complain, but slow to give praise. I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

Just writing to say a big thank you to Peter and the staff involved in our wedding on Sunday 19th October in the Melbourne Rowing Club.  

After some stressing!( mainly by me) and some access issues due to cyclists the evening reception worked out just as we would have wanted. We, our families and our friends were very impressed with the food and also the professionalism of all staff involved. Shelly and Andrew worked with us that evening to make sure everything ran as we would want it.  

The bar staff were great and a big hit with some of the ladies in the room i think! All very friendly and approachable. I was particularly impressed at the tinfoil handbag created by one staff member to allow me to take home our left over cupcakes. A nice touch! Mason I think?

Everyone commented about the food for days and also the fact that the staff made things happen but that we were not sometimes aware of their presence. This was especially felt towards the end of the evening when magically things were cleaned up etc. They worked with us till the end and were very accommodating to our wishes.  

Overall we and our guests had an amazing time and wish to pass on our THANKS! to you and your team. "

This is great feedback. I organise a lot of events in Sydney and Melbourne and the complaints are always the same - not enough food, not good enough service, some people never seem to get any of the food etc etc. I don't think I've run a cocktail-style event like this ever and got feedback like this. Just a short note to express our thanks for the great service you provide. Both our staff and management team were very happy with the level of service and the excellent food you provided on 18.1.2009.  

We have used your service on previous occasions however this time I handled the booking and found it all unbelievably easy. My initial call with Rachael was great. She assured me that nothing would be a problem. She obviously knows her trade well and was excellent to deal with over the phone. I would say I am a fussy customer and Rachael’s attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for. The food was sensational and the guys who presented everything for your company did a fabulous job. Again, nothing was too much trouble and they were fast, efficient and friendly to deal with on the day. Also, thank the chefs for their effort – the pork was great and the crackle was as promised – CRISPY.  

A catering company can make or break your event and without a doubt, we had a successful day thanks to yourselves and the Middle Park Bowling Club.
